Follow the port road following disembarkation with the main flow of traffic.
On reaching the first roundabout ( at the ESSO petrol station ) take the first exit on the right so that you double back on yourself towards Cherbourg.
Do not take the green signposted road to Caen / Rennes.
You will come to a larger roundabout ( with statue) where you will need to take the second exit, bearing in mind that you will be driving on the opposite side of the road, you will essentially be turning left to the south.
Go straight on through a set of traffic lights at the first junction.
You will then come to a second set of traffic lights ( with Mc Donalds on your left ) where you will need to stay in the outside ( left ) lane to continue straight on.
After approximately 0.5 km you will come to another set of traffic lights as the road goes uphill. Take the right turn off through ' La Glacerie' and continue following the winding road for about 1 km.
The road ends at a T junction with the main coastal road and you will need to turn left.
Follow this road until the first roundabout where you will need to take the second exit D900 ( left turn ) towards Bricquebec. You will pass Chateau de Martinvast on your right after the hill and bend. The road will take you through the villages of Rauville le Bigot and Quettetot.
At your arrival at the first crossroads in Bricquebec ( just after the Renault /Elf garage ) go straight across past the Intermarche on your right to the next junction with the stop sign. Here you will need to go straight across by turning left and the immediately right onto the D50 towards Portbail.
Shortly after the village of Le Valdecie you will need to turn left at the crossroads towards St. Jacques de Nehou ( D42 ).
Go past the church on your left in the centre of St. Jacques de Nehou then take the next small road on your right before the Bar Tabac. Continue along this road until you get to a junction ( with a small farm opposite ) where you will need to go straight over following a lane signposted La Rabatterie.
Continue past a house on your left ( La Rabatterie) until the road surface changes from tarmac to gravel on a gradual bend to the right.
The gravel lane descends for about 1 km to Le Pont D'Albart.
